THE FINAL INSULT

The Sunday version of the Daily Star has picked up the Steve Squire porn shop-date rape drug selling story.

However it is a sign of the dramatic decline experienced by the British National Party that even this down market newspaper which specialises is sleaze (but the one naturally most favoured by the BNP’s voting demographic) could not be bothered to make much of it.

Four years ago, when the BNP seemed to be a threat and had a credible chance of winning a seat on the Greater London Assembly, the BNP was big news. Now the final indignity is that no one gives a damn.

This ‘smear’ story – every detail of which is true, notice – folds in together a far-out open Neo Nazi who is standing for the miniscule British People’s Party, and a local BNP candidate who was found pictured giving a Nazi salute (there is always at least one of those every year). The Star couldn’t even be bothered to give much space to the BNP’s London Mayoral candidate Carlos Cortiglia, who supports Argentina’s claim to the Falkland Islands. Carlos’s internet sex swinging doesn’t get a look in. Steve Squire-Mendoza’s seedy Soho sex shop and his date rape drug selling activities get a mention but that is about it. The BNP is officially old news. It is well past it sell-by date. It is an ex-party.

There's only one thing worse than being talked about and that's not being talked about. The establishment media cannot be bothered to talk about the BNP even in negative terms.

They know the BNP does not stand an earthly chance of getting anyone elected to the Greater London Assembly. It’s over. No one is interested anymore.

  3. I think you have hit rock bottom Eddy, your last post about Squires proved that, i really cant believe anyone takes you seriously anymore. As for the Star article, its just the usual smear at election time. I dont know if the BNP will get a representative in London, Labour seem to think it is very much possible. One thing i do know however is the ED,s will get sod all. You know this of coarse, thats why you never talk about them, you only joined in the vain hope hundreds of BNP members would follow you, well they didnt. We all know you your real interest is with the BNP. Even in its battered state its miles ahead of any other nationalist group, now that they have been left half a million pounds they will never fold. With the BNP still in existence no other nationalist group can progress and they will eventually wither away and die. You have failed to damage the BNP as much has you wanted. You say the worse thing is not being talked about, thats right Eddy, no one is talking about you anymore, just laughing.

  4. The strange thing is that these BNP idiots are totally obsessed with you Eddy.I just looked at the British Democracy Forum and four out of the top eight threads have your name in the title and they were all clearly started by Griffinites as a means to attack you.
On here they keep posing as concerned correspondents urging you to stop attacking the BNP and focus just on the EDs as they know that by attacking and destroying the BNP you are actually creating political space for the EDs.
I can see this is what you have been doing and you have been very successful. Well done. It has been like watching a masterclass and yes you have been responsible for destroying the BNP. People like Griffin and Squire made your job easy and actually necessary. Once again well done and ignore the critics. They are desperate for you to stop.

  6. There are a handful of anti-Griffin people who are antagonistic towards you Edward, such as the Green Arrow, one or two people in the failed British Freedom thing and some lone cranks like Emerson.Mainly because you have your own opinions on what direction the cause should go in for the future.
Besides that the few remaining Griffin supporters are absolutely desperate to shut you up as almost single handedly you have taken the BNP apart. I can also see that this was almost an essential first step to clear the way for the English Democrats. Maybe a few English Democrats are naively uncomfortable with you repreatedly attacking the BNP. However I strongly believe that most of those who pretend to offer that concern are acting on Griffin's orders. Believe me that is one of the tactics that Griffin has been using (to pursuade you to stop attacking the BNP) for a considerable time, but without success I am pleaased to observe.

  7. Thank you - I am very aware of the tactics they employ though. But the BNP is fast approaching disappearing point as shown by the Star's reluctance to give it any column inches even when presented with a juicy sleaze story. The BNP very soon won't be worth switching a lap top on to write a single line - still less to read about. I am very gratified to have played a major role in burying the BNP. It was my duty to my people as it is not fit for purpose.

    2. If you judge a party's success by column space in the Star then surely the ED's must not even exist. A few months ago you were raving about the various news reports about the BNP in the papers and now your doing the same when they are not mentioned, make up your mind. How can you claim that you have 'played a major role in burying the BNP'From what i can see, they have a candidate for mayor, the ED's dont, they have a larger membership then the ED's, they have received £500,000 from a benefactor, while the ED's cant even afford to run a GLA campaign. Everyone knows who the BNP are, but no one at all has a clue who the ED's are. If you felt you had destroyed the BNP then you wouldnt have to attack it all the time. As for switching on a laptop to write about the BNP, well thats all you do, its a weird obsession. Now that the BNP will not fold due to debts, they will prevent other groups expanding just for the mere reason they exist.Do you really believe the things you write or are that blind

    3. The aim is to avoid neghative publicity. Not all publicity is good publicity. But the mainstream media can now hardly be bothered to run true but negative stories about the BNP - that is the reality of the situation. The EDs don't attract negative stories.

  9. Anyone who seriouslythinks Cortiglia has a chance is beyond deluded and must be a sap to believe these wild claims that "7% of Londoners" support him. No. Every poll shows the BNP at 1% somewhere near the Christian Peoples Party. 1% seems realistic given the near total lack of actual groundwork being done by the sex-sleazed remains of the BNP in London. Nobody I know, and that's a good few activists, in London is with the BNP anymore. They're either ED or NF. It's not for us to pontificate about the NF except to say that they're far too hardcore and extreme for the English people. It is necessary that the BNP dies. And it is. Thank God. I was out leafletting and door-knocking with English Dems yesterday and I can attest that the feeling, the vibe, and the message is good, moderate and sellable. Onwards and upwards! Jonesey

    1. I wouldnt take much notice of opinion polls. People never like to admit to their voting intentions with the BNP or any other nationalist party. The latest poll had them on 2%, but in general their actual vote is double that , it usually is when you look at previous elections. Its not an impossibility that they could reach 5% and win a seat. The problem with the ED's is they are generally not well known outside a few areas and of those that know about it dont really regard the creation of an English parliament as important, it would just be dominated ny tories or labour and another layer of government to pay for. People may favour a parliament if asked but its not hard opinion, i work with over 200 in my line of work, i dont know a single one who knows who the ED's are and none care about an English parliament.

There will always be idiots out there that say/do things to embarrass us all. Whether thought immaturity, stupidity, or just being plain out of their tree.. Therefore, I think it is wrong of you to try and portray this as just being a B.N.P problem.

  14. The problem is that by focusing on attacks on the BNP, you are linking them to the Eds i.e. tarring them with the same brush in the mind of the public.

I am a person who did't vote before because I hadn't found anything to vote for that I had any belief in beyond the superficial.I read the manifesto of the EDs with great attention, and follow Tilbrook's blog, and find that it does all correspond to things that I have always naturally felt.

The problem is that for potential voters like me, you are
linking the EDS to the BNP because of a sordid personal vendetta, when you should be distancing the EDs from the BNP's 'brand name' which is unelectable.

I believe that the majority of the public are fed up with the main stream parties and can't be arsed to vote for them, and there is great work for you to do convince people like myself to vote for the EDs...and you would be just the person to convince us if you could just 'get over' your personal life and vanities and get on with it..

This is not a footie game we're playing, we shouldn't be partisans for one team only and crow when a 'rival' goes down. This is our life we're trying to save, and if different parties come at the problems from different angles, then so be it and good luck to any or all who can get to represent Nationalists on councils, or higher.
But those who persistently decry Nationalist parties through obsessive bitterness should be looked at askance; are they really Nationalists, or are they simply driven by their overweening egos? Time to decide, I think.

I quite frankly couldn't give a shit what he gets up to as long as the bnp get elected and remove those wanker asshole traitors out of Westminster. We’re spending too much time worrying about what nick griffin is getting up to and little time saving this country. Think how many leaflets we all together could have dropped with the amount of time we have spent reading this blog, British resistance, bnp ideas etc bitching at eachother. We have two choices get behind the bnp and start working towards saving this country or sit in front of our computers whinging about nick and follow small unknown parties that are going nowhere. 24. The paucity of BNP supporters thinking is mind-boggling. So it doesn't matter what Griffin gets up to? Doesn't matter how many of his associates, organisers and members are criminals, neo-nazis, drug peddlers, porn barons? So the BNP isn't trying to offer a radical alternative to the "Wankers in Westminster?" So character, the character of those involved in the resistance doesn't matter? I think that character is the whole point of the matter. If we're not different, better and upholding much higher standards than the lib-lab-con then what's the point? What is the point of replacing one lot of scum with another lot of scum? All politics does not have to corrupt although it does require compromise. Too much of the BNP and now NF thinking is that repatriation of non-whites is possible. It isn't. So separate development is an option, or a demographic reality (?). Yes, send home foreign criminals today if not sooner. Close the borders. Put massive resources into hunting down illegals and making sure Britain isn't open to the international sex and drug trade. We need to get into the mode of thinking where we can see and exploit people's fears and concerns for the future by offering realistic policies, moderate policies, policies that can be effected, policies promoted by everyday English people who have come to radical politics because the others have failed. That is what the English Democrats offer whereas the BNP is broken and the NF is far too extreme....Ann C

  31. Let's be honest shall we? Mass repatriation is not going to happen and that's the realpolitik of our situation. Unless the BNPers are suggesting the killing of millions of people? It'd be great to know. This 14 Words stuff infects the movement like a disease and is always promoted by the least able we have. It has consistently proved to be a fantasy. The other fantasy we have to counter is the "controlling the streets" ideology of the EDL and the NF. It never works and always ends in ignomony.

So what do we have? A sensible, moderate alternative; the promotion of an English identity rather than the somewhat cobbled together United Kingdom as per the late 1700s. With Scottish, Irish and Welsh Nationalism and the push in those countries to expand and develop their own languages, all of which hugely predate Anglo-Saxon and Old English the British Nationalism aspect was only ever, realistically, a goer in England! And I'm English not Scottish. And we're genuine Nationalists not left-wing freaks like the Scottish or Welsh Nats!

It's just that we have learned and understood that we were have been led astray by a flawed ideology; British Nationalism, aka neo-fascism, born in the neo-nazism of the postwar as per Tyndall and Jordan, transmogrified into the National Front via Tyndall's Six Points of British Nationalism with its elements of Mosleyite thinking.

None of it specifically English; none of it able to deal with the four-way ethnic make up of the UK and leaving the English with less and less identity and tradition.

Hence the sunlit uplands of English Nationalism as identified by people like Tony Linsell and others. And this is reflected best in the work of the English Democrats. Some of us live and learn whereas others hate and spurn....

  32. People who whine and criticise John Tyndall on here, saying things like 'he took Nationalism the wrong way' etc have utterly failed to acknowledge one extremely important point, and that point is: There was nothing to stop anybody else from setting up THEIR OWN political party and implementing whatever ideas they liked!
But of course they didn't did they. They couldn't be bothered, or tried and didn't get anywhere. John Tyndall created modern Nationalism out of (almost) nothing, and made it a household name. If the whiners wanted their genteel Englishey ever-so-careful don't-upset-the-journalists neutered form of 'patriotism', then why didn't they set up their OWN party and do it then?
    Why didn't they get anywhere?
Because John Tyndall's force of character was head and shoulders above everyone else, that's why.

  34. Politics, questions of identity and way forward combine with tactics and, at the time, it's not clear which way to go. I think I was right in my post above to make the point about Tyndall and Nationalism. There were plenty of people who disagreed with Tyndall's take on things but it'd disinegnuous to suggest they didn't do anything. Most of them were drummed out as, at the time, Tyndall and Webster were in control. There were splits and factionalism. The REASON the NF didn't do as well as it might was precisely because the neo-nazi (not so far in the) past was easy to highlight by the left. The neo-nazi model of "controlling the streets" effectively died after Lewisham in 1977. Tyndall himself admitted, at a speech in Leeds post election in 1979 that the NF was broken, that it had failed tactically and that what was much more important was a different approach which meant much more community and local action. This is why the NF vote was so poor in 1979 (taking into account the Thatcher factor). Because the NF had little or no community support, no deep roots in local communities.

Once easily exposed as neo-nazis in the public's mind, and the fact of violence on both sides meant that the public was unconvinced. Griffin knew this and tried to combine this with his neo-fascist mentality. Note the failures of the "strong leader" party!

Tyndall had many flaws; I know, I met him many times and urged him to moderate the party and publicly denounce his nazi past. After the 1970s his oratorical gifts were gone and he was a semi-intelligent man who only rose to prominence through politicking out his opponents. If you don't understand that you don't know anything.

Fast forward to today and critics just don't get the fact that English Nationalism, in its non-fascist form, is truly radical, in no way watered down, and, vitally, relevant to today's situation. It actually does tap into a collective strand of what we could call Anglo-Saxon identity rather than Anglo-Saxon-Celtic-Whatever!

The English and Welsh-Scottish-Irish were always different religiously (huge variants in types of Christianity - Augustine and pre-Augustine Celtic, geographically, ethnically and politically.

Hence radical English Nationalism being entirely right for today especially at a time when the public hankers after smaller political units rather than the larger.

That's what I joined the English Democrats a while ago. I'm in my 50s now and am, atlast, happy to have found a genuine political home. The Veteran (English) Nationalist.

  35. Anon april 17 08:38am. You are correct in your Analysis of past British Nationalism and modern English Nationalism. Your description of the modern Scottish and Welsh so called Nationalists as 'left wing freak Nationalists' is spot on. The ED's are genuine Nationalists in that they want to seperate England from the EU.The Scots and Welsh need to look at there flawed Nationalism if they want to colaberate with other true Nationalists in England and Europe. Could you please expose your true identity, rather than 'anon'. Jamie, West Hert's, London flighter.

    1. I think the Scottish will grow much more towards genuine nationalism eventually once the British establishment log jam breaks after their independence. Maybe, one day the constituent nations can reform into a federal union.

  36. Check out the latest opinion poll taken in London a few days ago on page 3, the BNP trailing last at 1% behind every other party.

  37. I agree with the above post that nationalists ( not all ) have never sunk there roots in local communities . The Labour Party have done this for generations . Even the Lib Dems poll poorly at national level but still win countless seats at local level because of the years of work in there respective areas where they stand locally .
Over the years nationalists have been guilty of expecting voters to flock to us because of our stance on immigration then when the inevitable happens and we don't win were quick to say the British are not worth saving .When we have had nationalists elected a lot of them did little or nothing in there communities and in a lot of cases could not be bothered to turn up for council meetings . Its no surprise that seats are lost in the next elections . Harsh but true .

  39. Apparently the British national party are contesting a vacant council seat on Barking and Dagenham council, for a Goresbrook ward on 19th April. It appears they are ahead in the postal votes there. So unless there is a last minute physical vote against them, they could regain a seat on that Boroughs council.

  44. Griffin is scrapping the barrel putting up Whitby, who has no connection to Liverpool, it's shear desperation on the BNP's part!

"THE British National Party candidate for Liverpool mayor Mike Whitby is only eligible to stand in the election because he rents a redundant pigeon shed in the city."

  45. Apart from the vile, peverted shennanigans of those at the top end of the BNP, I find it strange that Griffoturd has yet again ventured into Northern Ireland (Antrim Guardian report) and was chased out again - albeit unharmed. Surely he must have paid off the Belfast printer by now or he would have been topped.
